Friends, you understand why are you unable to improve the mediocre ways of your lives? Don’t make excuses that you lacked the right resources or had the wrong circumstances. Refinement of personality has nothing to do with circumstances or resources. What you really lacked is will power, or the strength of mind. You never tried to follow your conscience or took the trouble to improve yourself. You never let yourself get inspired by the lives of great individuals. You have accepted the course of your life as has been presented to you. Even if some of you may have been inspired by outside influences to progress, this progress was confined to wealth and material.
Now you have the opportunity to correct these wrongs and gain new courage and motivation. Start a new life. Weed out the old self-destructive habits, prejudices and attachments. Very often you get trapped in attachments under the pretext of duty.
