The Destructive outcome of Anger

Once there was a huge python. It was very proud of its power and size. It always thought that it could batter anyone whom it coils around.

One day it sighted a lion made of marble. The lion’s statue stood in a temple and was very huge and looked almost real. On seeing it the adder got provoked and hissed loudly. It said, ” Even the most powerful of the animals run away in order to save their lives from me. How can you stand boldly in front of me.” The lion stood quietly as it couldn’t speak. Within seconds the python coiled itself around the statue and tried to swallow the lion, but it failed to do it. The more it attacked the more it got hurt. In the end it understood its foolishness and took its bruised body with bleeding mouth back to its hole.

Friends! Anger and resentment blind us and only harm us.
