Once Scotland was conquered by King Bruce, The new King could not even settle down on his throne when his kingdom was invaded by an enemy King. Somehow he managed to defeat him and saved his empire. After a few months, again he got attacked by other invaders, this time again he proved lucky and was able to escape defeat. Few months later some opposing Kings conspired against Bruce and attacked him again. This time Bruce wasn’t fortunate enough to dodge a defeat.
Tattered, tired and disappointed Bruce fled Scotland and went to a far off dense forest. One afternoon, he was sitting under a tree when he noticed a spider which was trying to weave its web between the trunks of two trees. The spider tirelessly tried to weave its net but every time the strong breeze would break it. Poor creature failed 20 times before it finally became successful in weaving its web. This proved an eye opener for Bruce. He got up with renewed zeal and enthusiasm and with full might he attacked his enemies and defeated them.
