Once upon a time a person had become hopeless with his life. He held a forlorn look in his eyes always, as he had faced many adversities in his life. One day he came near a sea seeking to derive some peace of mind through the ever energetic waves. He perched himself on a rock and watched the waves hitting another giant rock with full force. He noticed that the waves were continuously hitting this rock still the rock stood firmly in the middle of the sea. Neither was it getting hurt nor was it getting dejected. It was welcoming the waves coming towards it with pleasure. In his mind he asked the rock, “You are getting hit by these forceful waves from all the sides. Still you seem to be happy and hopeful with your life. Aren’t you hurt?” The rock seemed to reply, ” Friend! Hopelessness and Death are synonymous. If we despair and get dejected we might lose the opportunity of welcoming our guests.”
This man saw a spark of hope in his life. He got inspired and encouraged to lead a happy life so that his successors get influenced and their morals are respected.
