Woman is an invaluable gem of our society. Very few people can adjudge and acknowledge her worth. Whoever identifies her importance and channelizes her capabilities, achieve unmatched contentment and happiness.
Once there was a poor farmer who owned a small piece of land. One day while ploughing his field he came across a sparkling piece of glass. He picked it up and gave to his children to play with. The farmer’s children used to play with a trader’s kids. The trader’s kids liked the piece of glass very much and requested their father to get it for them. The trader could ascertain the cost of the stone, hence he coaxed the farmer to sell it for 100 gold coins. The trader’s kids had the son of a jeweller as their friend. On seeing the glistening gem, the jeweller’s son instantly fell in love with it and convinced his father to procure it for him. The jeweller weighed it and in turn bought it for 1000 gold coins. The jeweller had contacts in the royal family. The prince was a good friend of the jeweller’s son. Now the prince wanted to possess the rare diamond. The deal was struck at 10,00,000 gold coins and eventually the gem got embedded in the King’s crown.
People who sold the stone at a cheap price were ignorant. What was significant was not only the diamond but also the right amount of aptitude and knowledge to ascertain the true value of the invaluable diamond. Similar is the case of today’s woman.
