Once, five incapable persons collected at a place. The blind man said,” If I had had eyesight, I would have corrected the improprieties.” The lame man said,” I would have run to help others.” The weak man said,” If I were powerful, I would have helped the poor and the afflicted.” The poor man said,” If I were rich, I would not have let anyone remain hungry.” The fool man said,” If I were a scholar, I would have given true knowledge to others.”
When God heard their wishes, he took pity on them. He fulfilled their respective wishes. But now, the blind man began to remain too busy in watching the transient beauties. The lame man set out on an excursion to enjoy. The poor man became greedy for more and more money. The weak man began to harass others with his newly gained strength and the fool began to blow his own trumpet like a true egotist. Now, God was very much agrieved to see this and withdrew his grants.
